I figured I’d post a video from a man who often sounds like he’s from another planet. Here’s Rick Santorum, recent primary darling, speaking about stem cell research. More specifically, he talks about how scientists are “amoral” and lacking any “moral compulsion,” even though he definitely doesn’t want to censor them (wink wink, nudge nudge). Except, if he actually listened to himself talk about how scientists do tests on animals that they wouldn’t do on humans, he would realize that he was arguing in favor of the ethical nature of scientists.
